Aikido Caribbean Cruise (early notice)
Aikido Caribbean Cruise (early notice) The Shindai Aikikai will be sponsoring an Aikido Cruse seminar the week of January 23, 2005. It will be a 5 day Caribbean Cruise out of Port Canaveral Florida. Saotome Sensei will be the Principal instructor. We are working with a few other top notch teachers to join in. You get room, food, training and entertainment all for one low price. More will be posted at the www.shindai.com at time moves closer. It is much less expensive that attending a week long camp and paying for room, meals, transportation, entertainment and all other necessity such arrangements require.

Woo hoo!
I knew I liked you for some reason, Sensei!
Aikido Cruise? That is... by far... the BEST idea I have heard in a long, long time. I mean, how aiki is that? Nature... you're on the water! Hmm... now to save up the funds for this. I think I can talk my future wife into coming along.
Keep us posted! Luvin' this idea already!

Thanks for sharing the info. Dec. 6th is my B'day too
Didn't know there was Aikido in St. Kitts though. Been working on establishing more links with dojos in the Caribbean region. This may be one more to add to the list.

We're a little dojo in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. We don't have a website yet but I would be happy to provide you more information.
Hooker Sensei, please let us know if St. Thomas will be among the ports of call on your cruise.

Re: Aikido Caribbean Cruise (early notice)
We regret to inform those who have been waiting to register for the Aikido Cruise that it is completely booked. To date we have been unable to acquire any additional cabins from Carnival Cruise lines. The possibility of cancellations or the release of cabins still exits however, so contact Pat Tiffany (see the info link above) and get on the alternates list.

Re: Aikido Caribbean Cruise (early notice)
Being an old (maybe not ancient) insurance adjuster -storm chaser, I'm happy to see that Hooker Sensai made it thru the series of huricanes more or less intact..
