What would you change?

If there would be one thing you could change about your personal training, what would that one thing be?

To train without comparing myself to others.

I think the addition of light sabres to training would be great.

Perhaps some Aikidoka could also do some work or robotic knees??

Great people to train with, we all have nice people but, you can never have enough supreme people.

And I just wish I was better. Aren't we pretty critical on ourselves. Expecting more, sometimes having that perfect flow. Then wondering why the some times it wasn't as effortless. Thats the life time of challenge.

But even supreme people have to be beginners at sometime. I think that working together with people rather than against them encourages their growth, not only as Aikidoka but as people too.

If I could change one thing, we would receive grants from the National Endowment for the Arts to train. Being unemployed is a bitch and work can get in the way.

The one thing in my personal training I'd change is the year: I'd like to have started about 20 years ago!

(1) Unbreakable atomic android to practice techs at home with. Come to think of it, VR aikido would be pretty nifty too, no ?

;-)

(2) Extra 12 hours in each day.

(3) A life of luxury and great wealth.
