I don't have one but the people I know with them really like them.

The judo guys I know really like Mizuno, Adidas, and HSU gi. I have a couple HSU and they're not bad.

I have 4 or 5 of the Bujin heavyweight jackets and I highly recommend them. In the last 6 years or so since I've been using them I think I've only gone through one top due to wear. They're very well made, long lasting and extremely comfortable.

Best Regards,
John

I LOVE my bujin stuff. It's expensive, but worth the cost.

I am about to purchase my 3rd set, and really like them. My ONLY "thing" with them is the jacket sizing. I am 6ft, about 170lbs, 33 waist, size 17 dress shirt, 44jkt. The Medium is a bit snug on the neck and the large is a little baggy. But, with a custom order, I'm sure the next one will be spot on. I have one set lightweight (for last summer in Japan; that saved my but!) and one heavy.

My first cheap gi sits in the drawer and never comes out.

Just to confuse things a little, take a look at http://www.tozando.com/eng/index.html

I might get one of these, too.

Nick, I checked out their website. It seems that they are extremely expensive unless I miscalculated the conversion. I remember something like $650 us dollars. It was something like 108,650 yen. Let me know if you know different.

Thanks

Bought two, loved both. I like the zipper pants.

Budo King has a very nice gi.........heavey weight, and strong.

I love mine........but they are sized large (as judo gi's tend to be)

about $59 or so with freight.

Lan

Play nice, practice hard, but remember, this is a MARTIAL art!

I haven't checked their website, but the current yen rate in Japan is 118 yen to the U.S. dollar, making 108,650 yen = $920.75.

There is no need to crosspost the same message multiple times. Please refrain from doing so in the future. Thank you.

Re: Bujin Design...

I must agree with many of the respondents to your question. I, too, purchased a Bujin top and pants. This is a high-quality uniform which I find very durable and comfortable. The double lining is useful for keeping the torso cool. Also, I like the fact the you can tie the top via built in laces to the uniform doesn't open up during practice. I recommend buying one. I also wouldn't mind seeing Bujin lower their prices. What's the chance of that?

Cheers.

Check the 'Clearance Rack' at Bu Jin, deals can be had on their Gi's.
