Hi

Hello all.

I've lurked here but never posted, just thought I'd join-up though I don't always have much to say.

I started Aikido with Pat Hendricks and did a year and a half stint as uchideshi during my five years with her. I have been a formal student of Shidare Yanagi ryu under Don Angier for the past eight years, with about six years before that as a kind of groupie.

Just to put a face to the name... Some of you might recognize me for the demo we did at the Aiki Expo, I was the guy that got tied-up.

Hi Richard,

Welcome to the AikiWeb Forums! If I remember correctly, you came around and helped me out during one of Angier sensei's classes at the Aiki Expo...

In any case, thanks for your introduction. I hope you'll feel welcome (and encouraged!) to jump into the discussions here.

Hows it going Richard?

Kendo is like star wars and everyone gets to be Darth Vader.
