This is the 2nd year I've been on this course, and again found it both interesting and very worthwhile. We seem to have a very open minded attitude towards Aikido in Edinburgh, with (I think) all of the clubs getting on well with each other.

I'm a Shodokan practitioner through and through, but still found a lot of valuable things from this course. Thanks to Gus for organising it (and congratulations on Nidan!), and to Sensei Cassidy. I found him open minded and very approachable. In these days of martial arts politics, it was nice to ba able to have a genuine conversation with someone that trains in a different style yet is willing to listen to other points of view, and accept other opinions. Even (heaven forbid) from someone that trains in a style with competition such as me.

I look forward to next years course with mucho anticipation.

P.S. MJ, I promise I'll get you your videos back as soon as possible!
