Jun-san,
Do you think this forum will make any sense? The intention (collect links to interesting articles) seems pretty nice, but I think it will end up in a collection of posts like "Hey, come to my website, you might find something of your interest!".
What do you and other readers think?
Cheers
Markus

I actually thought that this would be what this partly is...
...for discussion and presentation of aikido related websites.
We already have library style of links elsewhere on this site.

That would be thoughtless
I hope that someone with the intention of posting such a message Markus describes, links without any real value can realize the thoughtlessness of doing so. Just as the one I'm posting right now is without any essence will the likes be ignored. The difference is that this is appealing not to do that ;)
I hear you tarik and I thing you're right about that, this would be the best place for a discussion of the released webpages, not a collection of links. Am I wrong?
What do you think?

Hello there,
Since this is a relatively "free" collection of forums, I suspect it will take shape as most things do...
People will offer whatever they choose to here, and it'll be up to each person reading the info to decide whether its of any value.
Trying to get this forum or anything else in our lives to be just as we want it is kind of like chasing your own tail.
One of my teachers long ago was fond of saying, "Don't worry...nothin's gonna be alright!"
Regards,

I'm hoping that this forum will enable people to announce their aikido-related website for other people to see. As Chuck says above, we'll have to wait and see how it will take shape...
Spammers will, of course, looked down upon.

Unfortunately, some of the links of this site are obsolete already. For example, Aikikai Hombu Dojo's site is at
http://www.aikikai.or.jp

A MUCH newer one!
Unfortunately, the start page's link to English pages is in JIS format - you may be unable to read it if your browser doesn't support Japanese language encodings.

Not only that but whoever created that site simply took http://www.aikikai.org
(see the source of http://www.aikikai.or.jp ? the very top goes:
<!-- saved from url=(0023)http://www.aikikai.org/ -->
then blah-blah-blah and, oh dear,
<meta name=Originator Content="Microsoft Word 9">
In short, the page looks extremely ugly and outdated. The layout and color scheme looks 95ish. The main advantage of the "new" site is that if you are interested in studying Japanese, you can read both English and Japanese version side by side. But for crying out loud, couldn't they hire a professional to make the page look cool ?
Kudos to Jun for making the original site.
Pasha.
