I need info for a paper on Aikido!!

I'm looking for information about students of Aikido; where they've been and where they are now. If you could tell me about where you were during the sixties, any experiences from twenty or thirty years ago that could tie into a larger world issue, such as the civil rights movement, the vietnam war, it would be really useful. I'm just trying to see what the backgrounds of students are in terms of what they were doing during that era. Thanks.

20 or 30 years ago? Not alive, I fear. However, a book called "the way of Aikido" By George Leonard, along with any of Autumn Lightning by Dave Lowry, along with the other replies on this page, should help you out.
