Oldest swinger in town?

Hi all. I've just asked a question on another thread which I think warrants a thread of its own. Who is the oldest Aikido practitioner (of any grade) who is still practicing regularly?

well, there is Jim Goggin Sensei, of Boulder City Aikikai (?) who is over 80. I couldn't find any specific information on the web about him. He's a really terrific man, a real gentleman!

Anyone else?

Thanks for the reply Rachel. To take this thread further,as a general question, how old is the oldest member of your club/association?

Have fun

Re: Oldest swinger in town?

There's Senta Yamada sensei, who's in his 80's, and still practicing both judo and aikido. He started learning judo at the age of 10 with Jigoro Kano himself.

In the UK, there is Bob Forrest-Webb, who teaches and practices Shodokan Aikido and Katori Shinto Ryu. Mr Forrest-Webb is in his mid 70's, though you'd probably guess he's a couple of decades younger to meet him.
