Koretoshi Maruyama Sensei, Founder of Aikido Yuishinkai will be teaching a seminar in Kendal UK on 8-10th July 2017. Maruyama Sensei was a deshi of Morihei Ueshiba for 13 years. In 1972 he was appointed Chief Instructor of the Ki Society by Koichi Tohei and was eventually designated as Tohei Sensei's successor. In 1991 he resigned from the Ki Society and entered a temple for a period of 10 years, after which he toured extensively establishing Aikido Yuishinkai. Aikido Yuishinkai has influences from the internal aspects of Daito Ryu and Ki-Aikido, as well as Shinkage Ryu sword, the technical curriculum represents Maruyama Sensei's desire to pass on the aikido he learned directly from the founder himself
