Nariyama on Timing

I seem to remember a while back, there was a discussion about Nariyama Tetsuo's use of the word "timing" to explain what he does -- if memory serves, the conversation was between PeterR and Ellis Amdur. Anyways, for those who are still interested, here's a video I found where Naryiama discusses/demonstrates timing:

I am having trouble finding this thread. I seem to remember I gave a particularly brilliant (sic) description of the different timings (I hope its the same thread) wanting to point a particularly inquisitive student to it and the subsequent discussions. But for the life of me I can't find it.
