I'm new to the forum and hope to have many questions answered here and hope to do the same for others with what I know of the martial arts. I am a lifetime martial artist and have: a black belt in tae kwon do, a purple belt in hapkido, and I am a san kyu in aikido. I was taking classes in Italy with Akikai D'Italia but have moved back to the states. I am currently looking for another art to take and may come back to aikido.

There's a good aikido dojo in DC I trained at, but its like 12 stops from the King St Metro.

I've been near the DC area for 2years now. There are a lot of good groups of people training aikido here, you should be able to find one that suits your needs from ki society to yoshinkan and all inbetween.
