Tokyo dojo hunt

I just arrived in Tokyo and will be here for a few months. Shall have to find me a new dojo. I'll be travelling between Kodaira and Shibuya daily.

I can easily search for a few dojos but any suggestions of where to train would be appreciated :-)

Re: Tokyo dojo hunt

I would have thought that the Aikikai honbu would not be too far out of your way. The place that I used to train is not really in your area.

Re: Tokyo dojo hunt

Kobayashi Yasuo is in Kodaira still, I believe.
Shimizu of the Tendokan is in Shibuya (he's brilliant)
Yoshinkan in Yotsuya

Yes - I am maybe 20 mins from Kobayashi Dojo. Will check out others. I'm in a bizarre place - surrounded by funeral parlours and a large graveyard park.
