Aikido Celebration Hawaii 2011

Something for the New Year - the full video from the Aikido Celebration Hawaii 2011 commemorative DVD on YouTube.

Aikido Celebration 2011 was a Hawaii commemorated the 50th anniversary of Morihei Ueshiba's 1961 visit to Hawaii - his one and only visit to the United States.

Includes demonstrations by Moriteru Ueshiba Doshu and Mitsuteru Ueshiba Waka-Sensei as well as many local and visiting instructors, and an interview with Moriteru Ueshiba Doshu (subtitle translation by me, but it's still OK ):

This and other resources and information about the history of Aikido in Hawaii can be found on the Aikido Hawaii website.

Enjoy,

Chris
