will there be donuts and coffee? kinda hard to look forward if no donuts and coffee. or maybe fruit cakes? somewhere in GA, there is a place that produced good fruit cakes.

George Sensei is earning his keep. that's for sure. He is also going to offer private lessons Friday before the seminar begins at $100/hour. Email me if you are attending and would like to set up some private instruction. It is likely George Sensei will focus on principles, not waza or weapons.

If you want to/are crazy enough to get in some weapons with George, a private Friday afternoon would be a great idea.

We'll probably cater lunch SUnday to stay in the dojo and power through the schedule.

Darn. I'm going to be teaching in New York that weekend. It sounds like fun.

Looking forward to this weekend. We'll be spending some time working on how to establish a solid grounded foundation and how to move around without losing that solid base. The use of intent to provide structure rather than muscle tension will play a big part in the instruction. Then we'll connect that movement to some waza, hopefully giving folks a different way of looking at familiar techniques.

Friday night... I've got George, whiskey and house without kids. Party on baby. Tomorrow my call sign changes to Whooba-One and 16 hours of stupidity begins. I'm selling t-shirts.

Jon,
I really appreciate the invitation and especially the enthusiasm of the attendees. The fact that so many dojos from all over the mid-Atlantic supported the event and want to work together to make it an annual seminar is just tremendous. I don't teach "feel good" seminars and a lot is asked of attendees and everyone came through brilliantly. The extra hours allowed me to see real progress over the course of the weekend. Made me very happy...

Special thanks to Steve Fasen and Lynn Seiser for supporting the event. Your presence raised the level.

- George

Sensei,

I heard that seminars build on themselves the more often you visit ...

Yes, George Sensei will certainly be coming back. Stay tuned...
