Damien

Hi , just started Aikido and was deliberating and trying other arts such as BJJ. Now realize that Aikido is very different and is more about harmonizing rather then challenging. Just an early thought but may encourage someone to try Aikido. I am looking forward to studying Aikido as a defense art and way of life.

Re: Damien

This is the main appeal of Aikido for me as well. I also teach high school and did not want to learn a martial art where I would be fighting students from my classes or school.
