Hapkido - the lack thereof

Well, I have moved to South Korea again. I spent 12 years here in the past. Of course, I have noticed a fair bit of change but quite interesting is the lack of Hapkido. I have been here two weeks and have yet to see a Hapkido Dojang. I am sure they are out there but before they were just everywhere. Now, it is 95% TKD. There is a Kungfu training hall across my street. I even found a Karate Dojo 10 mins away. Aikido is also here. But no Hapkido. None. Nada. Zero. Korean Kumdo also seems - absent. And Japanese Kendo (called Kumdo) is - apparent. Previously you would see dojangs advertising a mix of Hapkido/TKD/Kumdo etc but now it is all TKD. And as before - no adults do TKD (except in the army - but they never continue afterwards). Only kids do TKD in Korea - so it seems. So, where has all the Hapkido gone I wonder?
