Sensei Colin Pike Passes Away

Posted 2013-04-14 09:42:57 by Gareth Evans

It is with regret that Sensei Colin Pike, 6th Dan, one of the pioneers of Aikido in Wales lost his fight for life after a long illness.

He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends along with his extended Aikido family.

Re: Sensei Colin Pike Passes Away

I am very sorry to hear of this sad news - I remember Colin Pike from the early days of Aikido in the UK - circa 1960 when all of the first 8 dan grades headed for Wales to do what was then a very big seminar - Colin Pike was a driving force from then on.
I know he will be sadly missed by all that knew him. R.I.P. Colin.
