Hi everyone,

This is romy gabriel a beginner and an avid fan of aikido. .I'm 62 yrs.of age and i still would like to know
more of the aikido discipline and art. I used to join in a local aikido exercises before, in a small gym and I found it very interesting and rewarding. .it was just a short lived practice and membership since I was then assigned in various places of work . .that was some 40 yrs. ago. Finding this website activated my interest in the art and discipline. .This is for now. Thank you for your hospitality and in inviting me though, it seems I am beyond your ages. .God Bless!

Re: romygabriel's first login

My teacher used to tell a story of a man who joined Kobayashi dojos as a beginner when he was 65. He trained for many years and made it to 6 dan or something like that. I always thought that was inspiring.

Incidentally, I wonder if anyone knows who this story might be about? Just curious.
