NOLA Aikido is excited to once again welcome Charles Colten Sensei, 4th Dan Aikikai, back to New Orleans for a weekend seminar.

Charles Colten is the Director and Chief Instructor of Aikido in the Schools, which is dedicated to bringing the benefits of Aikido into public and private schools. He currently lives and teaches in New York City and travels regularly to give seminars in other parts of the United States and abroad. His primary teachers are Endo Shihan and Jan Nevelius Sensei, and he is extremely grateful and strongly influenced by many others including Senseis Mary Heiny, Hiroshi Ikeda, Takeshi Yamashima, Mitsugi Saotome, Jorma Lyly, Siego Okamoto, John Stone, and Robin Cooper.

The first class will begin on Saturday, September 8th at 10 am and the last class will end on Sunday, September 9th at 1 pm.

In addition, Charles Sensei will be teaching an extra class on Monday morning from 9 to 11 am which will be separate from the seminar classes and by donation.

More information will follow at the beginning of August along with the seminar flyer.

Aikidoists of all styles and affiliations are heartily welcome!
