Aikido Principled Ipad game ideas

I'm looking for input on ideas that could take aiki principles and demonstrate them in some kind of touch based video game. Something that includes the concepts of motion, balance, blending, or any other basic principle.

I don't want to go the direct approach and make some kind of fighting game, but instead find a unique way to demonstrate these principles in a enjoyable and maybe even educational way.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Re: Aikido Principled Ipad game ideas

Have knives, rocks or Uke come in from the top and you have to avoid them by turning your body sideways and left or right.

Next level have them come in from the top and sides.

Last level have them come from all sides.

You can grab uke and fling him into other uke's etc. simulating multiple attacks.

Have a Left, Right, irimi, tenkan and breakfall button.

I was thinking I could build on this concept http://www.moosezone.co.uk/reaction-game.htm

Maybe add some additional features and graphics to look like martial artists. However the game doesn't have to have people in it at all, it could be some kind of concept that demonstrates these principles in some other way.

I like that game
