Passing of Soke Thomas VanCise

Posted 2011-01-02 17:05:49 by Terry McCarthy

It is with regret that I announce the passing of Soke Dr. Thomas VanCise, Soke of Fudo Shin Tai Aikido of Corona, California Aikido Club on December 29, 2011.
Dr VanCise inherited the leadership of the dojo from our Sensei, Robert Simmons as of January1, 2000 and established the style of Fudo Shin Tai (Mind and Body As One). He was known and respected for his knowledge of Aikido as well as his skills in holistic veterinary care. The dojo will continue under the leadership of your correspondent, Terry McCarthy under the traditions of Dr. Van Cise and Robert Simmons, sensei.
