Introducing myself to the community

Hello,

My name is Tom Read (John Thomas Read is my full name), and I've been studying martial arts for over 40 years. I've been dojo cho at Northcoast Aikido in Arcata, CA. since 1977. I do a style of staff work called Aikibojitsu (based upon Shingu staff work). If you are curious or otherwise interested, you might want to look at the website www.aikibojitsu.com. Also, I recently published a book entitled Aikido, Aikibojitsu and the Structure of Natural Law. The synopsis on the back of the book reads:

'Based in an original and insightful exploration of the nature of consciousness and the meaning of meditation, Aikido, Aikibojitsu and the structure of Natural Law offers a compelling description of the behavior of energy in non-resistant systems in general, and in particular the behavior of energy in the spiritually profound art forms of Aikido and Aikibojitsu.'
