Tozando

Anyone here buy an iaito from tozando? I was just curious what people's experiences have been with their merchandise. I know people love some of their gi, hakama and wooden weapons, but I was hoping for feedback on the iaito or shinken.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Tozando

Just went and looked in the archives and it sounds like in the past some people have been happy. If anyone has any recent stories to tell, I would really appreciate it. I really think I am going to go with them and the free international shipping they are doing right now doesn't hurt either

Re: Tozando

A friend of mine bought one of their iaito about a month ago. Now, allow me preface what I'm about to say by stating clearly that I hate iaito made of aluminium alloys: the blade itself looks absolutely stunning. The hamon (in my opinion) are always beautiful and the the tsuka always look exquisite. I don't know what it'll be like in The States, but obviously my friend had to pay import duty on the blade (it was 10%, so about 30), so bear that in mind.

I fully plan to get one myself in the new year.
