Sept 18-19 Laredo Texas Workshop

Dan preparation workshop for the Mexico/South Texas region of the Shudokan Aikido Association to be held at Laredo of Aikido dojo, 2717 Loop 20, Laredo, Texas 77043. Saturday 4pm - 8pm and Sunday 9am - 11am. Mock testing, randori workshop plus kyu test requirements for our region. Conducting the workshop will be technical committe members Eliseo Munoz (5th dan SAA/Tanaka, 3rd Aikikai), Joe Cavazos (4th dan SAA/Tanaka, 2nd Aikikai), Jorge Garcia (4th dan Aikikai) and John Steven Garcia (3rd dan Aikikai). Test preparation will cover sandan, nidan and shodan exam requirements. Our dojos are satellites of our master instructor, Hiroshi Kato Shihan - 8th dan, of Tokyo, Japan. The technical committee is made up of personal students of Kato Shihan. Kato Shihan will be in Laredo conducting a seminar and testing during the second weekend of November. Further announcements will be made at a later date, but information can be obtained from our website. Contact Joe Cavazos 956 369 6423 for workshop details. No cost - donations accepted.

Sunday's session will be entirely weapons training....
Weapons Level 1, Weapons Level 2, and Weapons Level 3 for the jo and bokken. The weapons level training include kiri kaeshi, kumi tachi and waza...

Technical committee member Russell Thomas will also be on hand to assist in the testing requirements.
