Traditional AikiJutsu Training Dojo in Denver?

Hello,

Can anyone in the Denver/Boulder Colorado region point me to a dojo that teaches daito ryu or shodokan aikijutsu, please?

I am a newbie and help in getting me to a traditional dojo will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Gopal

Re: Traditional AikiJutsu Training Dojo

I have lived in Denver about a year. I am not aware of any Daito Ryu or Shodokan in the area. There is some Tomiki and a couple of places that have styles similar to that of Iwama, although I haven't trained with them personally.

Tomiki is Shodokan, isn't it?

Hi Gopal.

Are you strictly searching for these particular schools/styles? What are the objectives you're seeking in your training?

The Denver area is home to the top Shodokan practitioner in the US—Seiji Tanaka. You can find info on the Tomiki Aikido of the Americas (formerly Japan Aikido Association) website: http://www.tomiki.org/index.html
