I start my aikido training on Friday of this week and I'm pretty excited. I say on the verge of a major discovery because I've recently discovered my ki. And have been able to explain some things that have intigued me through life. I can also see ki and part of my intrigue over the last 30 years involves my ki and how I use it. Over the years I have always wondered what my hands are doing when I see photos of myself skateboarding. After an endeavor into TCM to fix something western medicine could not, I was slapped in the face with the discovery of meridians, yin-yang, ki, and all the important principles behind living a healthy life. I wish to learn ki-aikido and the inner health that comes with it. I think that I am a perfect candidate for this type of martial art with strength, extremely well balance, and an upper hand with being on the verge of learning ki. I've attached photos of my ki. I really ask for any advice on how to prepare for starting this new healthy lifestyle through ki-aikido/shin shin toitsu aikido
