Judoka and Taekwondoin checking in.

Hey guys. Since my judo club is done for the summer, both my sensei and a friend of mine suggest I do aikido as a change of pace. We do a lot of hapkido in our TKD dojang and also work on small joint locks and manipulation in our judo dojo. I am looking at aikido as a way to improve my tai sabaki for both judo and TKD.

I look forward to talking more with you guys and learning amore about Aikido.

Hi Craig,

Careful, it can become addictive! Have fun.

Thanks.

The dojo that my friend pointed me to is Long Island Aikikai in Bayshore, NY. The sensei is Edward Hagihara.I know he has had the dojo since '64 and my friend has been studying with him for over 10 years now. I am looking forward to a change of scenery and venue.
