Looking for Large Seminar Venue

Looking for venue to hold 500 - 1,000 aikidoka for seminar two years out. Serious leads are welcome.

Re: Looking for Large Seminar Venue

That's huge! The ASU Summer Camp is at a gym at Catholic University every summer. That draws around 250 I think. There is room to move, but not for three or four times that number. Maybe a pro basketball arena or a hockey arena would be large enough.

Who will be teaching?

Re: Looking for Large Seminar Venue

Contact Stan Pranin at Aikido Journal. He put on the Aiki Expos out here in the west. In 2005 they held it at Cal State Dominguez Hills and the reason I suggest contacting him is he apparently had connections for mats and so forth. That seminar was held in the gym and had eight mats going simultaneously. Maybe a start....?
