Hello Everyone,

I am happy to announce that Mike Sigman will be coming to Fresno March 27 and 28, 2010 for a workshop dealing with internal skills in the aikido context.

The workshop will be informal and open to all arts.

More details will be available shortly.

Please, PM me if you are interested in attending or want to know more now.

Re: Mike Sigman in Fresno, CA March 2010

The Fresno workshop will be a two-day program beginning from zero and working logically (with partner drills) toward some very sophisticated concepts involving blending via mentally-arranged forces, "aiki" of forces, and the general usage of these skills in practice encounters (better skill-level you'll have to develop in you class usage). Breathing training and whole-body connection exercises for strength and cohesiveness will also be taught. While these may seem somewhat incidental practices at first, these exercises and practices are the heart of the ki/kokyu/qi/jin abilities.
Please wear loose comfortable clothes (no gi's required, but if people want to wear one, fine) and bring something to take notes with.

March 27 and 28, 2010

Saturday 9 am - 4 pm
Sunday 9 am - 3 pm

Aikido of Fresno

Attendance is limited.
Register early while space is still available.
Payment must be received no later than March 15, 2010.

For payment and registration information, please PM or email me at: michael.cva@hotmail.com

You can sleep in the dojo Friday and/or Saturday night. There is a sink, shower, toilet, etc., but you must bring a pillow and sleeping bag. Cost: $10/night (this is paid to the dojo, when you get there, not as part of the seminar. Sorry for the complexity, but it's not my dojo.)
