Re: Fedor! Fedor! Fedor!

Hello William
I'm also a big fan of Fedor. Fedor is no doubt one of- if not thee best- guy to enter MMA. But I think last night he was in for a fight. I wouldn't make as big deal of his single punch when Rogers broke Fedor's nose and cut his face and rocked him with one punch as well. I think Rogers is going to be interesting to watch; his stand up and ground game are solid and well rounded. if my hunch is right-future face-offs with Rogers V Fedor may go like the Couture Lidell match-ups; meaning anything might happen.
Another interesting fight from Fedor- that typically ended fast.
Cheers
Dan

Re: Fedor! Fedor! Fedor!

I've always loved watching Fedor fight - he is so relaxed and really uses his spine and scapula well when he strikes. Almost looks likes he's swimming when he's pounding someone from inside their guard. Plus, he is so unbelievably resilient.

It's also encouraging to see someone who trains so hard and in such good shape who has a layer of fat around the middle. That gives me an excuse to refer to my own figure as "Fedoresque".

Josh, That is hilarious.

Fedor is a Beast. Scary Russian fella.

I saw that fight....i was wondering how much that bouncing just before the ko was calculated... setting the rhythm... hypnotizing the cobra..
unreal. The fight was great.

In the post fight interview Fedor said something along those lines...He was watching his opponents footwork and saw a flaw which he exploited... It looked like he was so sure of himself even though he was getting pounded, and as O'Sensei would say "He stepped in and acted"

I wish I had one tenth of Fedor's Martial Awareness and intent to act... LOL

MMA is such a great sport and I love it.
