Hello from Boston

Hello Forum,

I studied Aikido in the late 80s and early 90s in Iwate Japan. It was Iwama Ha Aikido.

Joined up as people mentioned me by name and I wanted to be able to answer questions directly.

Look forward to seeing where this path leads.

I teach Baguazhang, Shuai Jiao, Iron Palm and Iron Vest in Boston.

Aikido helped me learn how to throw with much more total body integration.

Be well, train hard

Re: Hello from Boston

Hi Dale,

I think I'm partially to blame for the hooplah, we have never met but I visit this forum and Kung Fu Magazine's...some one inquired about Iron Shirt (I really know nothing about it) but I have seen you talking about it in the other forum and offered up your sight as a possible place to start.

Certainly wasn't expecting to create any drama. My appologies...its amazing to me no matter which forum I'm in, how many martial artists like to talk down others

Welcome nonetheless!

.

Stay Cut,

The Hebrew Hammer

The Iron shirt thread was a joke.
I don't know if anyone even bothered to look at the link.

But welcome to AikiWeb.

What similarities do you see between Bagua and Aikido?
