Self introduction: John Lesko, Dale City Aikikai

I discovered aikido at the Dale City Aikikai becoming a shodan in 2007. When asked how long I've studied the martial arts, my favorite reply is, "Obviously not long enough." I have wrestled, boxed, and studied various combative styles through out a 20+ year military career. I now work as a certified group facilitator and as an executive decision coach applying the philosophy of aikido to building consensus within groups and teams in the workplace.

Home dojo: Dale City Aikikai - Head Instructor is Sensei Jerry Roy. Members of our dojo study under and are affiliated w/ Sensei Gordon Sakamoto, USAF, Northern Virginia Aikikai.
