Internal Skills for Aikido 201 — March 21/22, 2009

Mike Sigman returns to Itten Dojo on March 21st and 22nd, 2009, for the second workshop focusing on development of internal strength for application in aikido. This workshop will build on the material presented in the February 2008 seminar, addressing training for power using jin and aiki, "suit," moving the hara, and different ways of developing the ki structure. More time will be devoted to physical practice exercises than was the case in the introductory workshop, and although there will be some review at the start of the weekend to organize everyone's thoughts, most of the workshop material will be new to participants — some of the material, in fact, Mr. Sigman has not taught previously, anywhere.

Participation is limited to 32 persons, and prerequisites for participation are previous attendance of a workshop with Mr. Sigman or a personal recommendation from him. The registration fee for this event is $175. Due to the nature of the training and limited spaces available, single-day registrations are not possible. In order to receive a registration form, please RSVP to ittendojocho@cs.com, including your name, address, e-mail address, and phone number.
