Manage Kotegaeshi

Hi,
is anyone can give me advice for Kotegaeshi?
During the accomplishing Kotegaeshi (Omote) is it better to accomplish Zugi-ashi into the Uke sphere, or to do Zugi-ashi on the side of Uke?
Best regards Srdjan!!!!

Re: Manage Kotegaeshi

Depends on uke's position and the direction/energy of the attack and how quick/behind the attack your response is and.... :-)

Re: Manage Kotegaeshi

Use the momentum of'sentripetal/sentrifugal' force of the uke, swing the uke's arm down and up, make uke's elbow bent, and try to 'Ai' (equalizing) your fingers with uke's fingers when putting uke's hand down, thumb with thumb, index with index, so on...

hopefully useful.
