"Budo" & "Budo Training in Aikido"

The thread title refers to the books written by Ueshiba. Just writing to say that these are on offer at Amazon.com as a pair (and no I don't work for them!) I didn't buy them as a pair myself but they are excellent books both historically and for the info and techniques they illustrate. They also complement each other well as a pair (you don't feel there is any duplication).

These books aren't really for beginners (though beginners might find Budo intersting), but if you've been doing it for around 3 years or more you MUST buy them. (see reviews in books section on this site).

Ian's wonderful reviews of the books (thank you, Ian, for both of them!) can be read here:

Remember, folks, that the Books section of this site has the ability for you to post reviews of aikido books that you love (or hate!). Please feel encouraged to post your thoughts on all of the aikido books that you have in your library!
