Hatayama Shihan (7th dan) in Chicago and Rhode Island, 11/2008

Kengo Hatayama Shihan (7th dan) of Japan will be in the United States in November to teach two seminars. The first is November 6-9 at ShoShinkan Dojo in Cranston, RI to celebrate their 10-year anniversary. The second is November 13-16 at Ryoshinkan Dojo in Palatine, IL (near Chicago).

The training is open to students of any martial art or rank, and from any organization or dojo. See the link for pricing and more information.

Hatayama Sensei began his Aikido training at the Akita Branch dojo in 1968. He spent from 1978 to early 1981 teaching in West Germany as an assistant to Katsuaki Asai Sensei. He also has the title of Shihan and is the head instructor of Aiki Kenshinkai.

I recently returned from Japan where I was able to train a little bit with Hatayama Shihan, so I'm really looking forward to this.

Hi, I just wanted to bump this as a reminder that the Rhode Island seminar with Hatayama Shihan is this weekend!

Next weekend, he will be instructing in Palatine (Chicago suburb).
