Shodokan Shihan Demo @ competition

Shame there's no randori videos as I suspect they'd be of greater interest to non-shodokan aikidoka, but here is a video of our Shihan (Nariyama Tetsuro) doing his demonstration at the 8th International Aikido Competition 2009 in Kyoto last week. Ukes: Sakai sensei and Fujimoto sensei.

No hakama here!

Huh ... It's weird but his movements really remind me of Kondo.

Here is a clip from two years ago, at the 2007 International in Vandalia, Ohio. Nariyama Shihan demonstrating Atemi Waza from different grasps. Also, there is an Oshi Taoshi or two in there.

Thanks for that Michael, it's a great video - poor Fujimoto sensei! :P

The video was actually taken by my friend, she has many more clips on her channel 'ayferwang'. I'll do some videos at the next Shodohai competition which should be happening soon. Some good shiai clips should be if interest to those who don't practice aikido against full resistance.
