Dojos in Anaheim

Hi,
Does anybody know of any dojos in the Anaheim or nearby that's not listed listed on dojo seach? I've either visted those schools or websites already.
I will be in Anaheim for for a couple of weeks and will be relocating to the area at some point and need to find a school that can put up with my slow learning skills and where I will feel comfortable.

Many thanks!!

Re: Dojos in Anaheim

Peter,

There are some incredible teachers within a 25 mile radius of Anaheim, and even closer. I would suggest visiting a few of those that interest you and then deciding which is best for you. Please don't rely too heavily on a dojo website; often they are not quite representative of what the school "feels" like. Use the websites to do a rough cut and then visit a few. You have an embarassment of riches in the area.

IMHO, go to Sensei Dang Thong Phong of Tenshinkai Aikido at the Westminster Aikikai. (my home school).

Re: Dojos in Anaheim

Check out as many dojos as you can comfortably reach several times a week, and go with whichever feels best to you. It's not a race, so be thorough, and the answer will come to you. That said, don't make any decisions until you have checked out Phong Sensei in Westminster. He's a rare one...
