School Trip

In March I'm taking a bunch of high school kids to Japan. I might try and get them to do an Aikido lesson someplace in Tokyo, and also, I'd like to take them to watch a morning Sumo Stable practice. Anyone know which stables allow people to watch? Do you have to book it?

I thought this might help you while I was reading one of my Japanese newspapers, written in English of course. According to the article, it seems like a lot of your mates are going over in droves since the exchange rate is moving in your favor.

For a somewhat different aikido experience, one option is the Shiseikan in the grounds of the Meiji Jingu shrine (near Shinjuku).

Do you have a contanct number for Shiseikan? I actually trained with them for a year in 1992 but have lost contact etc.
