Post Hello

Hi, I'm Simon, I'm new to Aikido, but not to the Martial Arts. I've just joined the Shin Gi Tai society in Llanelli. My history is in Karate, Ninjutsu and Kickboxing, but I'm very much a recreational practitioner who's never been one for getting belts under my um... belt!

I've only had a couple of Aikido lessons, a few with the Ellis Dojo in Bracknell and now with Shin Gi Tai, and I've come to feel like I should have been doing Aikido all along. It's my own fault really, one of my exes told me to do Aikido and I wouldn't listen. Now I'm all ears though!

I'm also writing a short story at the moment in which the main character is a practitioner of Aikido.

That's almost me - I also have to tell you that I have a two year old son, and one more on the way... that's just for Aahh!-Factor.

Simon
