Koretoshi Maruyama Sensei in Andover UK 26th-28th May

Koretoshi Maruyama Sensei will be in the UK on 26,27,28 May 2007 at Rookwood School, Weyhill Road, Andover, Hampshire, SP10 3AL. Maruyama Sensei was an uchideshi of Morihei Ueshiba and formerly of the Ki Society before establishing Aikido Yuishinkai. This visit is the UK leg of his 2007 world tour and marks his 50th year as a professional aikido teacher. All welcome regardless of style or affiliation, please see website for more details.

I suspect that next year it will be the same too sadly. Can't see my better half agreeing to a honeymoon in the dojo (well you never know...). But the year after that just you try and stop me...

PS - By the way. When I submitted the news item there was a typo, it is Maruyama Sensei's 40th year as a professional aikido teacher not 50th, but he's been doing aikido for 50 years.
