Ai symbol Hello everyone

Hi !
Let me introduce myself. I am a 34 year old male, I am an architect, I am married, and we have a 4 weeks old baby girl.

The reason of my subscription is that I would like to find out more about akido. I used to practice karate (shotokan) but I stopped that years ago. It never really became a way of life. Getting older, working in an office, I had to realise that I must pay attention to my body, not just abusing it by a sedentary lifestyle. I begun to visit a gym, and also made jogging a habit. I feel more fit now than ever ... still I have the martial spirit, but also I try to practice nonviolence.
I am also trying to advance on the path of yoga ... but I am a beginner in that too.
So, I feel that aikido might be a well suited way for me, I found these boards by searching the internet, it seems a very respectable place, so I subscribed and I am very grateful for being accepted.
I can't promise that I will be a very active member here ... I probably will ask a few questions and read the boards ... and than decide if I will join the local aikido dojo.
