awright troops

Just a wee message to let you know that I´ve joined your forum folks.

You can see my name. I´m 25, from Glasgow, which to those of you who don´t know, is in sunny Scotland. However, I live in Barcelona. Which is obviously slightly lacking in culture when compared to Glasgow but the weather´s better and the women are slimmer.

I´ve been at the Aikido for just over a year, so I´m a relative novice. I suppose some of you boys and girls know your stuff, so I´m looking forward to absorbing some of your collective wisdom.

I was wondering if any of you can recommend a decent Dojo in Barcelona. I´ve been here for about three months and went to one dojo and did not return. It would be nice if anyone knew of one where english was spoken but I need to improve my spanish anyway.

Well that´s my wee intro over, I hope you enjoyed it.

Adios amigos!

Re: awright troops

Welcome to Aikido, Ewan. Try the 'Dojo Search', at the middle and left of this page. Or you can use this 'Dojo Search'

Just remember there are lots of cognate nouns in spanish, which seem more familiar written than spoken. Enjoy the slim, er, I mean the atmosphere and training!

Re: awright troops

Hola Ewan,

Saludos.

Shortly:

Try the link i posted, if you need more info ask there directly. PM me if you need help with language.
