I'm wandering through China until mid August, but before I left my home in RI I had been training for about three months at dojo I very much enjoyed. Before then I had dabbled off and on in some Chinese "internal" basics -- standing and silk-reeling. Maybe I developed a decent root, but I never got much past that. When I get back stateside, I'm not sure what I'll do.
Right now I'm especially interested in finding (and properly learning) solo exercises to train my body to move with connection and control. I'm paying a beginner's attention to the debate on the current state of Aikido.
