We don't need no stink'in shock knifes. We can all fire lightning bolts from our fingers thanks to our overly strong ki energy! *grins evilly* Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeesh....

Re: Shocknife'R'Us

We noticed a level of unrealism in the attacks during randori. Therefore I got several lengths of plastic tubing and covered them in pipe insulation (taping them on). They are like bokkens, which allow a sudden hard attack (and encourage such an attack), and they cause a slight bit of pain and a whacking noise without causing any bruising or injury. Highly recommended and about $497 cheaper than the 'shock-knife'.

Ian, I now have images of your students buying a LARP katana to come and train with you. *shivers*

Somehow, I find that more scary than the shocknife... Don't know why.

Re: Shocknife'R'Us

im buying two .... then me five year old can have one too .... dont want her training to fall in to the "unrealistic" catagory

Dance your cares away .... worry for another day ... let the music play .... down in fraggle rock!

when bored ... do as I do. Poke a patient!
