I've reached the age of very early 40-something and have gone through a process recently where I've decided to stop battling with myself on various issues.
In the past I've trained in karate, kenjutsu, muay thai and boxing. I've not been very successful or comfortable in any of them.
Since November I've lost 3.5 stone and have graduated the Couch to 5K running program. I've more weight to lose in the coming months.
I trained briefly with my instructor a few years back and have now come home to dedicate myself to it properly.
