Dan in London......

Hi. Just read a response from Dan saying he goes sightseeing. So I thought why not put up a thread where people who know London could give him ideas of places he could visit or even might find useful.

For instance: Dan, if you like parks not too far from where you will be I would recommend a couple. 1) Golders Hill Park, Golders Green. (The nicest park in London) 2) Waterlow Park, Highgate. ( You might even see my friend teaching Tai Chi there sat. mornings) My thinking being they may suit you for your outdoor get together.

If you like outdoor Street Markets then I recommend Camden Market on a Sunday or Portobello Road on a saturday. (over 100 antiques stalls and shops on this one too)

So that's just to get the ball rolling. Kept away from the iconic venues.

Welcome to Blighty. G.

Re: Dan in London......

The seminar location is 5 mins walk from Portobello Road, so no doubt Dan will be sampling some nice streetfood for lunch.

Well you *are* in London. From your post history, it seems you have a take on the internal strength aspect of things and Dan has another.

Seems to me any serious enthusiast might like to cross-check and compare notes, given the opportunity.
