Ross's aikido survey

Hi all,

As part of a dissertation project that I'm doing, I'm carrying out some research on aikido and Japanese culture. I'm hoping to find out the views of non-Japanese aikidoka on this subject and have a survey that can be accessed from the link below. I'd be hugely grateful if any of you are able to take the time to complete this questionnare - it shouldn't take much longer than 10 mins.

Cheers

I completed your survey. Please post your results here on AikiWeb when you can. It would be interesting.

I've just completed the survey also. I too would be interested in seeing the results when they are compiled.

Re: Ross's aikido survey

Thanks for your interest and for completing the survey; it was really helpful. I'll certainly try to find some way of feeding back the results on aikiweb - I'm sure it shouldn't be too tricky. Cheers

Interesting survey. I just completed it, and look forward to seeing the results and analysis, and what others think who didn't take the survey.

Re: Ross's aikido survey

Thanks again to everyone that contributed to my survey - aikiweb has been by far my most successful way of reaching respondants.
The survey has now been closed so that I can begin the process of analysing the results...I'll endeavour to get some kind of feedback on aikiweb soon for those of you that are interested.

Cheers

Ross

Thank you Ashley...

...just been looking through the data again actually - I hadn't considered before that the responses would spark such creative impetus in me...looking at graphs in a whole new light (ish)!

Haha. Well, at least you got a few people to answer! Glad I could help. Not sure exactly how helpful my answers were..... but I am really looking forward to the end result.

Has it sparked a desire to return to the mat Ross? You know we miss you...

Re: Ross's aikido survey

Nice one Daren - that was very nice of you to say so!

I hope to be back sooner rather than later. In fact, I think there might be a direct relationship between hours spent on this dissertation and hours spent on the mat (gonna get technical and stick my neck out that it's an inverse one!) So end of September then...

...Cheers

P.S Hope you're well by the way
