Aikido Xmas Rhyme

In the beginning was AI - pure harmony,
Forming the perfect universe we all can see;
AI is the source and the end thus has an energy,
A spirit, a life a flow and this is what we know as KI.

So simple that it's very hard to understand and see,
The complexity exists only in both you and me;
It shows the path, the way, the 'DO' isn't foreward or up,
The way of misogi as the emptying of the selfless cup.

So feel free to reply to this thread, it should be fun,
If you've got time make your own rhyme and let it run,
And may I say to all, and Jun, who use this forum,
Mery Xmas and new year, may your future be decorum.

G.

Re: Aikido Xmas Rhyme

And happy tidings to you and yours
and theirs and those, with rhyme and prose
one more cycle's come to go again
another echo down the line, my friend
and whether we may wrap with bows
or spin the dradle or eat cheerios
may we all find better times than what we've seen
and learn to work harder at fulfilling the dream.

May your holidays
be happy days
filled with love
training
and laughter

And may each day
bring joy your way
improving your aikido
in the year
that follows after

Re: Aikido Xmas Rhyme

Greetings to you from the heart
where all is one before we start
let wisdom be the very ki
to help unlock our destiny
allow our faith to praise our fear
to realize the truth is near
so as we settle down and sit
we may acknowledge how we love it!

Blessings

Re: Aikido Xmas Rhyme

And yet to those we often see
Who don't believe that there is ki
who still are willing to believe
In gifts from Santa under trees

We also wish for you to find
the joys of training bod and mind.
Discovering anew each day
the wondrous aspects of the way.

Encourage new ones, strengthen old
When sensei speaks, do what you're told.
Keep training and I'll keep on too
Til this year's old and next is new.

Although poetry's not my bag - hey
I'll give it a shot on this glad day
So for what it's worth
Let's unite heaven and earth
In a Christmas time tenchi nage.
