Re: Uchideshi position in San Diego

Hello,

I didn't find any information on your website regarding the uchi-deshi program. Maybe I wasn't looking in the correct place. Could you please send me fee's, schedule, and all other expectations and requirements to my personal email address at:

waynetec@msn.com

Thank you.

Brent

Re: Uchideshi position in San Diego

It's not something we generally advertise. I should clarify that this isn't an "uchideshi program" as traditionally defined, almost no one in the US has the time to make that kind of commitment to a student (there's threads on here about that issue). Instead it's one of two rooms at the dojo that we rent to students who would like the opportunity to train more and get some great experience in the operation of a dojo.

A couple additional things about our dojo:
We host the annual Aikido Bridge Friendship seminar with many shihan and students from around the world participating
Murashige shihan teaches a regular class at Jiai Aikido
We're a couple blocks from a bus line, trolley lines, and the bay

I'll send you an email with the info you wanted.

Osu,

I have been and trained at this facility and with Sodeman Sensei. Good group of people, excellent instruction, beautiful dojo.

If this, Uchideshi, is the direction some one wants to go, this is an excellent opportunity. Highly recommend.

Hi Jeff,

Don't forget that you (and others) can post your uchideshi program information in the Links Directory section devoted to Uchideshi Programs:

Thanks Lynn!

If anyone wants to see some pictures of the dojo there's some on our website and a lot on the Aikido Bridge site, http://www.aikidobridge.com/photos/2007bridge.aspx
